Friends of Llangynidr School is a charity whose purpose is to provide practical and financial support to The School. The support includes helping to publicise and promote the school to gain due recognition for its enviable record of high academic achievement and outstanding pastoral care.

Past fundraisers have enabled us to:

Equip the computer suite
Stock the science cupboard
Buy essential stationary – pens, pencils, paper, books
Buy special needs resources
Start to equip the infants outdoor classroom

Future fundraising events are needed to continue to provide essential resources for our children to use in their everyday schooling and to refurbish the outside area and expand the much used outdoor classrooms; a crucial part of the current teaching style set by the government.

As busy parents ourselves we appreciate that your ability to commit to the above depends on circumstances that can change throughout the year so we are grateful of whatever support you can give whenever you are able to give it. A little bit from each of us will add up to a lot for our school and our children.
